Parent Night
The first Parent
night of the 2017-2018 school year is schedule for TODAY, Monday, September 18 at
6pm. Elementary parents have an
opportunity to participate in two breakout sessions this evening: Merit & Demerit
Program Overview - Mr. Larry Stinson, Principal and/or Readers and Writers Workshop
by Mrs. Kimberly Williams. We look
forward to seeing you there.
Fall Pictures
Elementary
students will have Fall pictures taken on September 19 & 20. All pictures will be taken before students
are dismissed to the cafeteria.
Individual yearbook, and group pictures will be taken.

The week
will conclude with a pep rally at 2pm in the gym as we prepare for the Home
Coming Varsity Football game Friday night at 7pm.
Snakes Alive
September 29, Ron Cromer, a specialist in herpetology, will
be here to share with elementary students.
He will share an educational Power Point, allow students to view
non-venomous snakes and reptiles tamed for petting. The event will conclude with the voluntary
opportunity for students to touch the reptiles.
Parents who do not want their student to participate, should email their
teacher.
Student Absences
If you student is absent for any reason, please email the
teacher and the Elementary Office, NancyMcDowell@HGChristian.org. Remember to follow the CDC Guidelines when
you student is not feeling well.
Students should be free of the following for 24 hours before returning
to school: fever of 100 degrees or more, vomiting or diarrhea. For attendance records to be accurate, please
email the Elementary Office each day your student is not in class.

The lost and found is located at the Welcome Desk in the Education
Center Lobby. Please check for items
promptly. Unclaimed items will be
donated to the less fortunate.
