Student Authorization Forms
·         All students must have a completed Student Authorization Form to begin school.  Those forms are now due.  Link to form: SAF Form  Complete and return to the Elementary Office by email, nancymcdowell@hgchristian.org or drop off with receptionist.

Back to School Bash
We look forward to seeing everyone today beginning at 4pm.
4:00 - 5:30PM Meet Your Teacher
5:30 - 6:00PM Back to School Assembly with Head of School (Worship Center)
6:00 - 7:00PM Eat & Greet at the Fields
7:00 PM Lions Soccer Game- free admission (concessions available for purchase) Cheeseburgers, hotdogs, fries, nachos, popcorn, funnel cake straws, candy, & drinks

Lunch
·         You may create a lunch account for your student by logging into Myschoolbucks.com if you have any questions, you may contact Mrs. Joan Helms: 704-531-4055 or JoanHelms@hgbc.org

·         If you send in money with your student to purchase a lunch, only cash is accepted.  Change will not be given.  Any extra money will be added to your child's lunch account.  Checks are not accepted.
Bus
  • If your student will be riding the bus from North Campus, complete the Bus Registration Form and sign the Bus Policies and Procedures.  Return both to the School Finance Dept.  Here is a link to both: Bus RegistrationBus Policies
Before/AfterSchool
  • Sign up your student for Before/Afterschool by completing the registration form and return to the School Finance Dept.  Here is a link: Before/Afterschool Registration
Tardy Students
  • Tardy Kindergarten students (only) will be signed in at the Main School Office located on the 1st floor of The Education Center.  All other students will be signed in at the Elementary Office on the 3rd floor of the floor of the Children's Center.
Early Dismissals
  • All students will be signed out of school early, will be signed out from Elementary Office unless contacted by the nurse in the Health Room.

Student Authorization Forms

New Student Parent Orientation Meeting
·         If you have a new student, a mandatory new parent meeting will be held on Thursday, August 11, at 9AM.  You will have an opportunity to hear from our Head of School and School Administration.

·         Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten parents, this is an adult only meeting for you.  After the 9am meeting, you will meet with your student’s teacher and received valuable information regarding the entire school year.  This will take the place of the Curriculum Night Meeting scheduled on August 22, for elementary parents.  Please bring school supplies with you on 8/11.

·         First – 5th Grade parents, your student should attend with you.  While you are meeting, students will have a time of orientation with their teachers.

Back to School Bash
·         Attend the “Back to School Bash” on Monday, August 15. Visit classrooms, meet your teacher, and bring school supplies.
Back to School Bash Schedule:
4:00 – 5:30pm    Meet the Teacher
5:30 – 6:00pm    All School Assembly in Worship Center
6:15 – 7:00pm    Meet and Greet at Soccer Field (Free Admissions)
7:00        Soccer Game
