2018-2019 Student Re-enrollment Update

The 2017-2018 school year Renweb Parent Portal will be closed on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
For those parents who have not re-enrolled for the 2018-2019 school year and plan on doing so, you must submit your re-enrollment application by Tuesday, June 5, 2018. If you do not plan to re-enroll, please note that June 5 will be the last day that you have access to your Renweb Parent Portal and will be able to print final report cards. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at 704-531-3589.


For those parents who have re-enrolled, your 2018-2019 Renweb Parent Portal will re-open on Monday, June 18, 2018.

  • June 18            Renweb Parent Portal opens to enrolled families

The 2018-2019 enrollment instructions for current students is available on RenWeb.

If you have any questions, regarding re-enrollment, please contact the admissions office at 704-531-3589. Enrollment for HG Church members and non-members is now open. As of March 1, the Re-enrollment fee increased to $600.

Student Security
Student Security is important at HGCS. Therefore, carline tags should be displayed in vehicles for student pick-up in the afternoon. This applies to Main Campus carline, or North Campus bus carline pick-up. If you need additional carline tags, please contact the Elementary Office. Additional carline tags are available for parent pick-up.

Student Absences

If your student is absent for any reason, please email the teacher and the Elementary Office, nancymcdowell@hgchristian.org. Remember to follow the CDC Guidelines when your student is not feeling well. Students should be free of the following for 24 hours before returning to school: fever of 100 degrees or more, vomiting or diarrhea. For attendance records to be accurate, please email the Elementary Office each day your student is not in class.

Lost and Found:

Missing a lunchbox, Bible, sweater, jacket or book? The lost and found is located at the Welcome Desk in the Education Center Lobby. Please check for items promptly. Unclaimed items will be donated to the less fortunate.
